| Responsible for the optimum operation, maintenance and repair of all types of stinger equipment |
| Principal Accountabilities |
| Responsible for operation and maintenance of the stinger on board the bargeEnsure that a complete and up-to-date inventory of available spare items/equipment is always maintainedCheck that all items and accessories required for the stinger are available on board the barge and ensure that the stinger equipment is correctly set upKeep a well-documented log of all activities which are mobilized with Stinger TechniciansSupervise the dismantling, demobilization & maintenance of the stinger equipment during the idle periodMaintain a log of equipment condition before-and-after stinger activities to record and indicate specific equipment that requires maintenance worksTake necessary action to establish a safe working environmentIn the event of an emergency where potential risk is involved, carry out the stinger operation in an appropriate manner ensuring safety of the crewTrain and develop the crew in the operation, maintenance and repair of stinger equipmentCompliance in accordance with Company codes and HSE standards |
| Educational Qualifications & Certifications |
| Secondary School Certificate with a discipline-specific Technical qualification, or equivalent |
| Relevant Experience |
| Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas Industry |
