Senior Geotechnical Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead geotechnical investigations, including soil sampling, lab testing, and analysis.
• Design foundations, retaining walls, and other geotechnical structures.
• Provide technical advice on ground conditions and soil behavior for various projects.
• Collaborate with civil engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure safe and stable project designs.
• Prepare geotechnical reports and recommendations based on investigations and analysis.
• Conduct site visits to assess project progress and resolve technical challenges.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental requirements.
• Manage and mentor junior geotechnical engineers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering or Civil Engineering with a focus on geotechnics.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in geotechnical engineering and investigations.
• Extensive knowledge of soil mechanics, foundation engineering, and geotechnical design principles.
• Proficiency in geotechnical software (e.g., GeoStudio, PLAXIS).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Professional Engineer (PE) or Chartered Engineer (CEng) certification is highly desirable.
